22. Otukpo Local Government Area

Otukpo local government area with its headquarters in Otukpo town is centrally located in Idoma Land. Otukpo is the oldest and most developed local government area in Idoma land.

23. Ogbadibo Local Government Area

Ogbadibo local government area was created in 1991 and is made up of three districts; Otukpa, Orokam and Owukpa with Otukpa as headquarters. The local government area derives its name from the Ogbadibo stream which flows through the area.

24. Augustine Ahmedu (BlackFace Naija)
Augustine Ahmedu also known as BlackFace Naija was born in Obalende Lagos in 1974. He completed his early education at Army Children School Otukpo in 1985 and had his O’ Levels from Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School Makurdi in 1991.
25. Mohammed Acha (Late)
Late Mohammed Acha was born on 21st July 1974 to the family of Igoche & Late Achetu Acha and had 6 siblings; Edo, Mary, Gideon, Abo, Inalegwu Henry (Dre) and Inyamuwa Linda.
26. Professor Jonah Isawa Elaigwu
Professor Jonah Isawa Elaigwu was born on 10th March 1948 and attended Methodist Central School, Otukpo between 1954 and 1960. After his primary school, he proceeded to Benue Provincial Secondary School, Katsina-Ala in 1961. Upon successful completion of his O' Levels in 1965, he attended King’s College Lagos, from 1966 to 1967, where he got his A' Levels.
27. Innocent Ujah Idibia (2Face)
Innocent Ujah Idibia better known as 2Face, was born in Jos on September 18 1975 to Michael & Rose Idibia.

This website was set-up on 3rd January 2011 by a group of like minded Idoma people as a platform through which Idoma sons and daughters can contribute to the social and economic upliftment of Idoma Land.

We hope this website will serve as a web portal for everything Idoma: an online database to document stories about Idoma people, showcase our rich cultural heritage as well as celebrate our achievements.

30. About Idoma People
The Idoma people are the second largest ethnic group in Benue State and occupy 9 local government areas in western Benue State. These are Ado, Agatu, Apa, Obi, Ohimini, Ogbadibo, Oju, Okpokwu & Otukpo local government areas.
